{"id":3518,"date":"2024-10-03T15:35:40","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T14:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/18.132.61.227\/?p=3518"},"modified":"2025-02-21T09:32:35","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T09:32:35","slug":"how-our-community-helped-the-lawn-tennis-association-get-a-competitive-edge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jigsaw-research.strat7.com\/us\/case-studies\/how-our-community-helped-the-lawn-tennis-association-get-a-competitive-edge\/","title":{"rendered":"How our community helped the Lawn Tennis Association get a competitive edge"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A classic online community is set up to provide a cost-effective stream of insights<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The puzzle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To help its strategic and tactical decision-making, the LTA wanted a community that would act as the voice of British tennis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It wanted on-tap access to its key audiences, including coaches, fans and tennis players of all ages and abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It needed all this cost-effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pieces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, we developed an online community using our own research platform; Whycatcher?\u2122<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The community has been running since 2016.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over 2,000 members get involved in topics including branding, comms and product testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tools include user diaries, quick polls, quick surveys, bulletin boards, commenting tasks and live chats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The picture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The insights generated help strategic decision-making throughout the LTA and have board-level visibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The LTA has a direct conduit into the needs and views of the tennis community \u2013 putting it in direct contact with the lifeblood of British tennis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jigsaw-research.co.uk\/topics-we-cover\/communities\/\"><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A classic online community is set up to provide a cost-effective stream of insights The puzzle To help its strategic and tactical decision-making, the LTA wanted a community that would act as the voice of British tennis.
