{"id":3516,"date":"2024-10-03T15:34:03","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T14:34:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/18.132.61.227\/?p=3516"},"modified":"2025-02-21T09:32:47","modified_gmt":"2025-02-21T09:32:47","slug":"how-we-helped-salesforce-develop-their-customer-understanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jigsaw-research.strat7.com\/us\/case-studies\/how-we-helped-salesforce-develop-their-customer-understanding\/","title":{"rendered":"How we helped Salesforce develop their customer understanding"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understanding SME needs for CRM systems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Puzzle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Salesforce wanted to grow their understanding of the SME customer perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wanted to generate thought pieces and white papers that would help position them as market leaders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Needed to understand current brand perceptions to feed into future comms and campaigns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The research needed to be conducted in key European markets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Pieces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our key focus was quantitative research: we conducted 300 online interviews in each of Germany, France, the Netherlands and UK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We over indexed on start-ups \u2013 so that our client gained a good understanding of client needs and issues at this critical time in a businesses lifecycle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We also conducted 12 depth interviews in each market \u2013 to help bring the quant to life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Picture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The research helped build a much greater understanding of the SME experience of business in general and CRM in particular<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It has fed directly into Salesforce marketing and comms planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It has also been used to produced a separate White Paper in each market \u2013 helping to cement Salesforce\u2019s credentials (and it\u2019s brand positioning) in regards to SMEs and their business needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Understanding SME needs for CRM systems The Puzzle Salesforce wanted to grow their understanding of the SME customer perspective.
